Rhett McLaughlin and Link Neal begin to write a script at age 14.  They never finish.  Likely due to 14-year-old girls. 

2012

Now stars of TV and YouTube, (or as they call themselves, internetainers) the original Gutless Wonders decide to read the screenplay on their show, Good Mythical Morning.

the readings

Rhett & Link read the script over four Friday episodes and fans begin insisting Rhett & Link film the script.  The duo decides it would be better if fans did the filming.

live action version

The Kommunity Kollaboration begins with a flurry of scene assignments.  The scenes are taken so quickly, someone suggests making an alternate version.

the musical

To keep it unique, the Musical team commits to using no live action, only animation and puppets.  Musicians begin turning Gutless Wonders scenes into songs.  Animators turn the songs into music videos. 

The result is Gutless Wonders: The Musical.
