8 this is a dream

So much is going on in this scene.  First, the song.  Donna Williams thought "Are You Sleeping/Frere Jacques" might be an easy way musically to bring out the English and French aspects of both dream scenes.  So James Busvlogger recorded several versions of each as the Dream Genie.  You can hear his Are You Sleeping Outtakes on the extended soundtrack. 

Lyricist and singer Joanna then fashioned her cover of the Break Up Song to include space for the Genie.  James rerecorded his parts to fit perfectly with the new song, and this collaboration was complete.  Almost.
