9 awake
It happened in reverse. Algot Skog was animating the wake up scene from the script when he learned the song was cancelled. There was no place for his animation in the Musical. So it was decided that whatever he finished would be used for a trailer.
This was too good for a trailer. The scene's humor and Algot's script details just had to be part of the movie. So the scene was moved to later in the story and James Busvlogger was called in to create a song for it. Full scene without music. To get the song to sync with the video in the final cut, the shots of Rhett and Link's houses here had to be removed.
