18 tubule test

Animator Eli Doyle had been asked to be part of the project early on but had scheduling conflicts.  Toward the end of production when an additional animator was needed, Eli was thankfully available.  He finished his scene in a couple of weeks and even had time to finish the GMM intro video. 

This scene was not written in the original script, merely hinted at, so lyricist Kevin Hilt used details from earlier scenes about the tubule and the Professor.

• Kevin Hilt makes his last appearance as Professor Mac, on the side of the rocket. 
  
• A proper tubule launch requires Mentos and Diet Coke.
• Smitty makes his only animated appearance here, with a roasted marshmallow squirrel.
