15 where did you go?
Originally this song was going to be a straight cover of Fast Food Folk Song, referencing an unfinished scene in the script where the only direction is "Maybe eat lunch somewhere with another skit." Dodie Clark recorded the cover, which is available on the extended soundtrack.
But since the guys eat at Subway in one scene and have a chicken leg argument in another, the lunch scene was changed to a transitional song. Dodie generously wrote new lyrics and recorded the song. This was another scene that found itself without an animator very close to a deadline. Not only was Meg Genova willing to take on the last-minute project, she was thrilled to be part of something for Rhett and Link. And she became a Dodie Clark fan as soon as she heard the song. hidden bits

Somehow this clip did not get included in the files to be edited, so it's an inadvertently deleted scene. It illustrates the line, "We are far too young to play this scary game."
Fast Food Folk Song music by Rhett and Link. Lyrics and performance by Dodie Clark. Sketch stop motion by Meg Genova. Edited by Kevin Hilt.
